West Bank, East Jerusalem/Al-Quds, Kafr Aqab 20 Nov, 2025 - 21 Nov, 2025
At least 2 martyred
On November 20, at around 23:30 on Thursday, Israeli forces raided the Kafr ‘Aqab village, north of occupied East Jerusalem, deployed along Jerusalem–Ramallah Street. Israeli military vehicles were stationed near Sikal intersection, while a number of Israeli soldiers were positioned in front of the “Shish Shawarma” building, and an Israeli sniper climbed the building’s fourth floor. The Israeli forces killed two Palestinian civilians: a child and a young man, shortly after midnight on Friday, November 20. **According to information collected by the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights’ (PCHR) staff:** - At approximately 00:00, on Friday, the Israeli forces heavily fired stun grenades under the pretext that one of the soldiers had been attacked with stones, sparking limited clashes in the area. - About twenty minutes later, an Israeli sniper stationed in a nearby residential building opened fire at Sami Ibrahim Sami Mashayikh (16) while he was on the main street, approximately 50 meters away from the sniper’s position. The child was shot with a live bullet in the chest and was then transported by the village’s residents in a private vehicle to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah. - About twenty minutes after the first incident, the Israeli sniper reopened fire on other people in the same area, wounding one in the foot, while another, ‘Amr Khaled Ahmed al-Marbou‘ (18), was shot in the chest with a live bullet. ‘Amr was initially taken to the nearby Daa’ al-Shifa Medical Center before being transferred to the Palestine Medical Complex, where Sami Mashayikh and ‘Amr al-Marbou‘ were pronounced dead at around 01:00. According to PCHR the child, the teenager, and the events in the village posed no danger or threat to the soldiers’ lives; therefore, there was no justification for the excessive use of force against Palestinian civilians. Oday al-Shurfa, a friend of Marbou, told AFP he witnessed the incident, which occurred during clashes between Israeli forces and local Palestinians. "He was just standing there, not holding or throwing stones -- just like the others,". Marbou was hit "in the chest, in the heart. He collapsed and was martyred on the spot,". Anotehr relative of Marbou told AFP: "He was with four others; one of them was also killed, another is in critical condition," and another suffered a serious hand injury."What kind of brutality is this?" she said. **Investigation of Defense for Children- Palestine:** *"Sami Ibrahim Sami Mashayekh, 15, was shot and killed by an Israeli sniper on November 20 around 11:30 p.m. in the Palestinian town of Kafr Aqab, north of Jerusalem in the central occupied West Bank. Sami was playing with his friends in the neighborhood when Israeli forces raided the area. An Israeli sniper took up a position on the roof of the Al-Rajih Medical Center and opened fire toward a group of children and youths in the vicinity. Sami was struck by a bullet in the back that exited through his chest near his heart, causing a severe penetrating wound and significant bleeding. He was shot from a distance of about 50 meters (164 feet) and left bleeding on the ground for 10 minutes, as a sniper targeted anyone who attempted to reach him. Following the raid, Sami was taken to Al-Shifa Hospital in Kafr Aqab and then transferred to the Ramallah Medical Complex, where he was pronounced dead around 1 a.m. Sami usually went out in the evenings to play with his friends, as he owned an electric scooter that he used daily. On the evening of the 20th, he went out with his friends as usual, but they heard that a military operation was present in their neighborhood. Sami returned home to put his scooter away, then went back out of curiosity to see what was happening. As soon as he reached the area, he was immediately shot, according to his relative."* Ayed Abu Eqtaish, accountability program director at DCIP, states that: *“After more than two decades of collecting documentation of Palestinian children killed by Israeli soldiers, it is clear that soldiers kill these children simply because they want to,”. “They know that they will face no consequences from their superior officers, government officials, or anyone in the international community for killing a Palestinian child.”* **Israeli spin:** The operation, according to Israeli police, was aimed at what it described as “hostile elements seeking to harm security forces and provoke violent disorder.” Police came under attack by stone-throwing and fireworks during the operation. **Funeral:** Several hundred people, mostly young men, took part in the funeral processions for Marbou and Mashayekh on Noember 21, clapping and chanting. The deceased were draped in Palestinian flags with their heads covered with the traditional black and white Palestinian keffiyeh. Relatives recited prayers around the bodies. **Victim names:** 1. Amr Khaled Ahmed al-Marbou, 18, 2. Sami Ibrahim Sami Mashayekh, 15.

On November 20, 2025, Israeli settlers have set dozens of cars and several buildings on fire near the Palestinian town of Huwara in the West Bank, with this act of terror coinciding with a meeting by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss rising nationalist violence against Palestinians in the West Bank. A groups of settlers from the illegal settlement of “Yitzhar” attacked the area located between the towns of Huwara and Odala and set fire to the car scrapyard owned by Muhammad al-Dallal. Huwara Mayor Jihad Ouda reported that Israeli settlers were seen throwing rocks Thursday from an overpass at passing Palestinian vehicles below. The massive fire began soon after. The Israeli army arrived later to force the perpetrators away: “If the army had not removed them, they would have done even more,” Dalal said. “These settlers are causing destruction everywhere here. ... Where can we go? We want to remain steadfast on our land, no matter what.” **IDF investigation:** An Israeli investigation unit of soldiers and border police officers on Friday collected evidence at the scorched scrapyard, according to an Associated Press crew who was asked to leave by the investigators. Asked about the incident, the Israeli military said it dispatched soldiers to the area after receiving reports that settlers were throwing rocks at Palestinian cars. It also said other reports indicated that “several” Israeli civilians had set fires and damaged property in the area. It said soldiers searched the area but didn’t find any suspects and that the police were now handling the case. **Previous incident:** Huwara has been the target of numerous attacks over recent years. In February 2023, scores of Israeli settlers went on a violent rampage there, setting dozens of cars and homes on fire after two settlers were killed by a Palestinian gunman. Palestinian medics said one man was killed and four others were badly wounded.

Raid and arrest campaign in Beit Ummar in retaliation of the "Etzion operation"

West Bank, Al-Khalil/Hebron, Beit Ummar 18 Nov, 2025 - 19 Nov, 2025
**On November 18 to 19,2025:** Israeli forces imposed a siege on the town of Beit Ummar, north of al-Khalil.The operation is supported by significant military reinforcements that were deployed toward the town in the early hours of the morning after sealing all of the town’s entrances with dirt mounds and iron gates, restricting movement in and out of the area. The operation came hours after an Israeli settler was killed and three others were wounded, one critically, in a ramming and stabbing attack at the Gush Etzion junction in the southern West Bank. The attack was carried out by two Palestinians, one of them from Beit Ummar,Walid Mohammed Sabarneh, who were shot dead by Israeli forces. The Israeli forces detained more than 100 Palestinians, converting the town's main soccer field into a makeshift interrogation center and have begun gathering detainees there. They raided dozens of homes, including the Sabarneh family’s house, damaging its contents, then sealed it after forcing the family to evacuate. The home was welded shut with iron sheets, family members were assaulted and the property was damaged following on-site questioning. These raids were accompanied by acts of abuse against residents and the deliberate destruction of their property and belongings, after the occupation forces imposed a tight siege on the town, declaring it a closed military zone and sealing off all entrances and exits, thus preventing the movement of residents. The arrest and detention operation affected more than 40 citizens, including two women, who were held in the town's stadium. **On February 18, 2026:** on the Eve of Ramadan, Israeli forces stormed Beit Ummar, forced residents to leave their homes, and planted explosives in the home of Walid Muhammad Khalil Sabarna before detonating part of it. They surrounded the area, preventing movement, and then demolishing part of the three‑story house after booby‑trapping it.

Massacre in Ain al-Hilweh refugee camp (South Lebanon)

South Lebanon, Ain al-Hilweh R.C. 18 November, 2025
At least 14 martyred
On 18 November 2025, an Israeli airstrike hit the Ain al-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp, on the outskirts of Saida, at around 9.30 p.m. on Tuesday night, in southern Lebanon. The strike hit near a parking lot by the Khalid bin al-Walid Mosque, in a densely populated part of the camp. The drone fired on a vehicle surrounded by pedestrians, many of whom were returning from evening prayers. A football/sports field where young people were gathered were alos targeted: "an open sports field frequented by young people from the camp, known to all residents, and that those targeted were a group of boys who were on the field at the time of the strike." According to the state news agency NNA, three missiles were fired into the center. Eyewitnesses described a horrific scene: people “just playing … suddenly the sound was terrifying, everyone fell. There were no weapons.” Local sources reported that emergency services worked under very difficult conditions, evacuating the wounded into hospitals in Sidon. The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that 13 Palestinian refugees were killed and dozens more wounded. The victims were all registered Palestinian refugees, descendants of families displaced during the Nakba in 1948. On November 19, search and rescue operations have ended at the site stuck by Israel: the death toll stands at 14. Israeli military’s Arabic spokesperson Avichay Adraee said it struck members of the Palestinian armed group Hamas who were operating in a training compound in the refugee camp: “When we say we will not tolerate any threat on our northern border, this means all terrorist groups operating in the region,”. “We will continue to act forcefully against Hamas’s attempts to establish a foothold in Lebanon and eliminate its elements that threaten our security.” Hamas strongly rejects the claim, stating the strike hit a civilian “sports field” / indoor football field, not a military site. **Reactions:** Hamas condemned it as a “brutal assault on our unarmed Palestinian people.” The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) called it a “brutal Zionist aggression” and challenged claims of military justification. **Ceasefire violation:** Hamas and some local commentators see this as a violation or escalation. The strike is one of Israel's deadliest since the so-called ceasefire deal went into effect on Nov. 27, 2024. **Why Ain al-Hilweh Is Significant?** Ain al-Hilweh is the biggest Palestinian camp in Lebanon, with a very dense population, home to over 70,000 Palestinian refugees, and has long suffered from overcrowding, poverty, and limited access to Lebanese state services. The camp is not fully controlled by the Lebanese state; various Palestinian factions (including Hamas, Fatah, Islamist groups) have influence. In 2023, there were major clashes in the camp between Islamist groups and Fatah, resulting in dozens of deaths. There have also been past Israeli strikes. For example, in October 2024, an Israeli strike reportedly killed six Lebanese (some children) in Ain al-Hilweh.

Pogrom in Al-Jab’a village

West Bank, Bethlehem, Al-Jaʿba 17 November, 2025
On November 17, 2025, in the evening, extensive violence erupted in the Palestinian village of Al-Jab’a, southwest of Bethlehem, after dozens of extremist Jewish settlers entered the village and set fire to homes and vehicles. They attacked homes, set vehicles on fire, and vandalized property. Video documentation shows settlers setting fire to vehicles and throwing stones before fleeing. According to the head of Al-Jab’a council, Diab Masha’la, settlers broke into the village, attacked several houses, burned resident-owned cars. There are contradictory accounts — some sources claim two Palestinians were injured, but others (including local officials) say there were no injuries. Israeli security forces (IDF, Border Police, and Police) were deployed to the area. No suspects were detained at the time of reporting. According to Israeli Army Radio, dozens of settlers broke into the village and began setting fire to Palestinian homes and cars, allegedly in retaliation for the dismantling of an illegal settler outpost and clashes in the Gush Etzion area earlier in the day. The Israeli source also reported that large Israeli forces were heading to the village to regain control of the situation, adding that initial reports indicated the burning of one home and four Palestinian vehicles, along with the injury of a Palestinian citizen. **Context:** Al-Jab’a (Jab’a) is a Palestinian village in the central West Bank, about 15 km southwest of Bethlehem and 17 km north of Hebron. It lies roughly 3 km east of the Green Line and is surrounded by Israeli settlements of the Gush Etzion bloc. It is very likely that the rioters, or at least most of them, came from Bat Ayin and its outposts. It is the closest and most violent settlement in the area, but it cannot be ruled out that some of them came from other nearby settlements and outposts. The attack occurred shortly after the evacuation of the illegal outpost Tzur Mashgabi in Gush Etzion. **IDF statement:** The IDF confirmed that Israeli civilians vandalized and set fire to homes and cars. Security forces were “jumped to the scene". Searchs for suspects were ongoing, incident still active. It warned that such settler violence "distracts forces from counter-terrorism duties". **Statement of the Defense Minister Israel Katz:** Responding for the first time after days of silence regarding widespread settler attacks, he condemned “violent anarchists” harming soldiers and Palestinians. He promised no leniency for violent settlers and a new government decision soon, granting legal tools and budget to address settler violence. However, he reiterated his support for expanding settlements but “within the law.” **English statement of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:** He issued a condemnation only in English on his official account, calling the attackers “a handful of extremists.” and saying Israel “will act with full force” against settler attacks on Palestinians and soldiers.
