Around 8:30 pm, an Israeli airstrike targeted the Nuseirat post office building and three houses near Al-Qassam cementery in Nuseirat camp, central Gaza.

The airstrike led to a major massacre where 40 people were killed and dozens are still missing, including journalist Abdurahman Al-Qassas

Search and recovery efforts were still ongoing with more killed victims being pulled out from the rubble.
