Israeli artillery shelled the hospital three times causing material damage to the facility and patients and companions to flee. At the time of the assault, there were 80 patients including 4 children in pediatric intensive care and 8 in the NICU, whereas others were spread across other departments (dialysis, oncology, respiratory and gastrointestinal diseases).

On September 12, 2025, a young man, Muhammad Issa Ahmed Alawi (21 years old), from the village of Deir Jarir, died in the evening, as a result of being shot by occupation forces in the village of Deir Jarir, northeast of Ramallah in the Occupied West Bank. According to he head of the Deir Jarir Village Council, Fathi Hamdan, the young man Alawi was seriously injured at dawn on September 12 after the Israeli soldiers opened fire on a group of young men at the street connecting the village and the neighboring town of Silwad.
